About

Neurodivergence and Me
Working with neuro-divergence is my passion. I was diagnosed with dyslexia at the age of 9 and ADHD in adulthood. I also have two dyslexic children.
I understand that feeling like you don’t quite fit in and struggling to demonstrate how to show your full potential can hugely affect emotional well-being.
If you are looking for support from a neuro-divergent therapist, please get in touch to find out more about how I can help you.
I set up Atypical therapy with the aim of supporting people who are experiencing similar struggles with their emotional well-being. Bringing a mix of professional training and lived experience to provide a space where clients can work through whatever is making their life difficult.
Neuro-divergency can bring positives as well as negative. I provide a space where clients can work through whatever is making their life difficult and find ways to be themselves in a world that doesn’t feel like it’s quite the right shape; as well as celebrating individual strengths that a neuro-divergent brain can bring.
